A Visit With The Animal Communicator

by Jo Ann Weise

The Weise Cavalier children did some communicating with Cathy Malkin-Currea the Animal Communicator recently. I thought it would be worth sharing their experience with those of you of you still considering allowing your kids to indulge. Oliver

It all started out rather innocently. Oliver had been feeling poorly; and, since the veterinarian couldn't seem to find the source of the problem, it seemed reasonable to have Oliver communicate his feelings with Cathy. Oliver told Cathy his back was bothering him just below the rib cage, exactly what we needed to know so it's off to the chiropractor with him! Of course, he couldn't stop there.. . . he just had to get a few more things off his mind.

Such as how much he enjoyed the company of the other Cavaliers, especially the bitches-- meaning this in only the nicest way. Oliver asked to be left out of the roughhousing, although that may change after the chiropractor! When asked if he was okay with keeping one of the new puppies, he gave his conditional approval; that being that the puppy be--you got it, a bitch! Oliver also misses the dog shows. I'm sure it's not the attention he misses!

Emma wanted to set a few things straight as well. First, she felt there were FAR too many pictures of Oliver on the web site (plumridgecavaliers.com). (I've since checked, and found this criticism unwarranted, as they have equal billing.) It seems Emma views herself as Queen with such responsibilities as guarding the property from all intruders (squirrels, birds, etc.).

Rachel, on the other hand, she is quite happy to leave the "queening" to Emma.At the same time, Rachel makes it clear that her babies are the prettiest! She was pleased that we kept Gracie from her first litter, although she can be a brat at times.

Not to be left out of this family meeting, Wendy had plenty to say. She does like it in America, although it's nothing like England. She says we all talk with a funny accent! (She probably heard that Emma said she talked funny.) We were glad to finally learn why she does not like riding in the van. Wendy had seen puppies leave in vans at her first home, and they never came back. She always wondered what happened to them. She also gets motion sick, which the gingersnaps help. Aside from the van ride, Wendy said she enjoys going to shows and especially enjoys the attention. Wendy is quite sure that she is Mom's favorite of all the dogs.

Gracie And then Grace came into our conversation with Cathy. I was glad I had the chance to ask Gracie why she is a bit "rough" on the younger dogs. It seems that from HER point of view, these young Cavaliers come are brats...rude and with bad manners. It is Grace's responsibility to keep them in line!

Whew! What a lot to take in. You know, it's probably a really good thing they don't talk all the time. But all in all, it was a very informative visit with Cathy Malkin-Currea. We recommend the experience. The Weise Cavaliers say, "Try it, you'll like it!
