Not sure what to ask your animal or what to discuss with them?
People call Cathy to communicate with their animal families and offer Animal Reiki treatments for a variety of reasons including to find out about their animal's health, behavioral and training issues.
Here are some examples of what you can discuss with your animal family:
• Behavioral Issues
Understand the reasons behind issues and problems. Find "win-win" solutions and resolutions for cat box issues, inappropriate bathroom behaviors, barking, chewing, aggression, biting, clawing and other behavioral issues.
• Personal Information
Learn about your animals' viewpoints. What are their likes and dislikes? Understand their purpose in life and how they assist you in your life. Find out what they have to teach you.
• Rescue/Adopted Animals
Learn about your rescued/adopted animal's life and history before you met. Help your animal to heal from past traumas and abuse, so they can easily integrate into your household and feel safe.
• Life Changes
Change is especially difficult for companion animals. It is important to prepare your animal for any upcoming changes in your routine or household by communicating with them during a session. Changes include vet visits, the addition of a new animal member, new baby, divorce, travel, moving, home renovation, illness in the family or schedule changes. Keeping your animal informed of these type of changes can prevent many unwanted emotional and behavioral issues.
• Multiple Animal Households
Understand the family dynamics between your animals to create a harmonious household. Ask your animal about what they need and want in a new animal family member before adding to your animal family. Having your animal's input can help in how the new animal will be received.
• Health*
Acute and chronic illness support and insight. Allow your animal to describe how they are feeling and where they may be uncomfortable or in pain. Ask what course of treatment your animal wants whether it's traditional or holistic veterinarian care. Discuss holistic care options. Cathy will consult with your vet at your request.
• Senior Animal Support
It's never easy to watch a beloved animal companion grow old. Senior animals face new challenges sometimes daily. Ask your animal how they are feeling along with what they need so you can give them the best quality of life and care. Receive insight into when to stop treating ill or elderly animals. Discuss quality of life questions and issues.
• Dying Process
Prepare and support you and your animal throughout the dying process. Hospice support. Discover your animal's wishes before and after they return home to Spirit. Discuss euthanasia options and say "goodbye."
• Animal Caregiver Support and Understanding
When animals are ill and dying, their people become their caregivers. Taking care of our ill and elderly animals can be stressful and isolating for the entire family. Cathy offers you support and understanding for you and your animal through out the animal's illness.
• Grief Counseling

• Deceased Animal Companions
Talk with your beloved animal companions who have returned home to Spirit. Talking with your animal In Spirit can bring solace to both you an your animal especially if the animal's transition was traumatic or unexpected. Have the opportunity to say "goodbye." if you were un able to do so before they passed on.
• Reincarnated Animals
Find out if your animal In Spirit is planning on reincarnating. If so, discover when and where you can find their new animal body.
• Strengthen Your Relationship
It makes animals happy when they feel heard. Using the language of telepathy tells animals that you love them.
*Please note: information about your animal's health is intended to convey the animal's experience only. Animal communication is never a replacement for veterinary diagnosis and treatment. |
