Animal Communication Helps With Senior Pet DecisionsIt's hard watching our beloved animal family grow old. Thanks to technological advances in medical care and the availability of good quality food help our pets to live longer lives. As our animal companions age, we become their caregivers offer them elder and hospice care.
It's a labor of love to take care of their senior animal companions. Caring for elder pets can be overwhelming, all consuming, and isolating. When you communicate with your senior or ill pet about their wishes can bring answers, support and solace to you both during a challenging time. When your animal isn't well, it can be a tough time for everyone involved. I hold a Masters in Counseling and create a safe space for you and your pet so you can share your hearts together.

What Is Hospice and Elder Care for Pets?Hospice care for pets is about maintaining comfort, quality of life and dignity for terminally ill or geriatric pets.
It's modeled on hospice care for humans. Hospice is a philosophy of care that focuses on animals who are seriously, chronically, or terminally ill. Hospice care is not about finding a cure for whatever illness or disease your pet maybe dealing. The goal of Hospice Care is managing your animal companion's pains while providing for your animal's emotional and spiritual needs until she transitions naturally or is assisted with euthanasia When your animal is seriously or terminally ill, it can be isolating and frightening. I help you and your animal family during this challenging time with insight into how your animal is feeling and providing you answers to your questions like if your pet prefers to transition naturally at home or with assistance at the veterinarians office. My goal is to help you maintain your bond while helping your animal during a difficult time in your lives. |
