Luigi and Pierre

Donna shared the following,

My husband, dog, and I met Cathy at an art event awhile ago. She read my dog right there and figured out that he did not like going to the dog park at all. She later remotely read Pierre and told me why he would run away when I coughed or cleared my throat.

When my veterianarian and I were confused about how to care for my other dog, Luigi, I decided to hire the “Animal Muse” for a full reading and an Animal Reiki session. 

We first talked with Luigi because Donna and Ned were concerned about his health and overall wellbeing. When I asked Luigi how he was feeling, he showed me pain in his front right leg and trouble walking. It felt like arthritis. Donna confirmed he suffered from arthritis and has mobility issues because he was born with that leg turned out. He also has problems with his spine.

Luigi also shared that he has stomach issues that are related to his severe food and environmental allergies. It turns out the dogs are vegan because Luigi is allergic to meat-based protein. I asked the dogs about their diet. They said they liked their food but especially enjoyed their treats and the human food they received.

Donna promised to share Luigi’s insight with their veterinarian in hopes they can find ways to help him with his allergies and mobility challenges.**

Donna and Ned inquired about their dogs’ incessant barking at the front door and in the backyard. They wanted to know how they could stop this unwanted behavior. Luigi and Pierre explained that from the time they were puppies, they always rushed the front door barking. It turns out no one taught the dogs what to do when people visit.

After talking with the boys, I suggested they be taught to stay on mats near the front when visitors arrived. I assured Donna and Ned their dogs were quick learners, and with patience and consistency, everyone would learn the new front door ritual.

The backyard was another issue because there’s a walking path next to their yard. People, dogs, and wildlife are constantly walking by. Pierre and Luigi said it’s their job keeping their yard safe and letting their people know when there was any movement back there.

We turned our conversation to Pierre, who feels Luigi gets most of the attention. Pierre said he understood that Luigi had health issues, but wanted to remind his people that he deserves more attention because in Pierre’s words, “I’m perfect!”

Donna and Ned promised Pierre they would spend more time with him. They also promised to spend time with Pierre without Luigi.

Once we were done talking with the dogs, we shifted to doing Reiki, which is a separate service from Animal Communication.


As soon as I began sharing Reiki with the Corgis, they got onto the couch with me. Luigi is quite aloof and doesn’t like to be touched, so it filled my heart when he laid his head in my lap during the Reiki session. 

Both dogs went into deep relaxation and felt more relaxed and calmer after their treatment.

Donna shared her experience after their Animal Communication and Reiki session:

Both dogs were so drawn to Cathy during the Reiki healing that they proceeded to lay their bodies on her. The reading and the Reiki treatment were worth every penny!

In the few days since the reading and receiving Reiki, we are all communicating better. Luigi and Pierre bark less, seem happier and we all have a more loving relationship.  

Animal Communication and Reiki help animals feel more peaceful and balanced. It also empowers them, which strengthens their bond with their people.

If you are, you’re not alone.

While an Animal Communicator doesn’t need to have a counseling background, I find it’s helpful to my clients and myself that I have a master’s degree in counseling. A crucial aspect of the Animal Communicator’s job is to take good care of the human during a session, especially since no one wants to feel judged. A counseling background gives the Animal Communicator essential tools that are needed to create a safe healing space for all involved.

The goal of an Animal Reiki treatment is to help animals through passive Reiki meditation.

• Hold a healing space of peace, love, and compassion using Reiki meditation.
• Not focus on the animal’s issues/problems or need to know about them.
• Not interpret animals’ messages.

It’s difficult for the animal and AR practitioner to go into the Reiki space if there is an expectation that the animal needs to do something other than relaxing. Plus, it’s impossible to carry on an active two-way conversation with the animal and their human while being in the passive state of meditation.

Animals love to share their hearts with their humans. It makes them happy when you hear and understand their thoughts, feelings and viewpoints. This includes what’s on their mind; how they’re feeling; and what else you can do to make their life even sweeter.

Like you, your pets appreciate it when they feel heard and validated.

Humans are complex with very busy minds given we have over 40,000 thoughts a day. The busy signals your animals receive can create miscommunications and misunderstanding. 

To negate miscommunication, it’s important to check in with your animals as an integral part of their pet care routine.

Regular communication with your animal companions helps you both better understand one another from a heartfelt perspective which creates more balance and harmony. 

Telepathic animal communication builds a special bridge by connecting you with your animal’s heart. By doing so creates a deeper understanding and awareness.
For many of my clients, regular check-ins with their animal families are akin to talking with human kids. They find talking with their pets, with my assistance, weekly or bi-weekly, is an important part of their pet care routine like going to vet, grooming and exercise. It’s important to to my clients that they know how they can help their pets from their pet’s perspective.

I recently spoke with Sailor the horse. His person called me because she knew Sailor had something important to share but needed my assistance to figure it out.

When I asked Sailor what was going on, he explained that he felt over-schooled in their favorite sport: 3-Day Eventing, which combines 3 events: dressage, cross-country, and show jumping. Sailor also confirmed that his favorite event is cross-country. He then suggested that they practice Dressage to music and requested a ball to play with to reduce the stress he was feeling.

After our session, Sailor’s mom emailed me: “I feel lighter today – I hope Sailor does, as well.”

I responded: “I’m happy talking with Sailor has helped you feel lighter. Sailor says that he feels better and lighter since communicating with you.”

Buffy

Buffy, a 4-pound Pomeranian, is a bundle of joy who is also a “doggie fashionista.” She first came to into her person’s life as a foster dog. It only took Buffy a short couple of days to wiggle her way into Terry’s heart. So Terry adopted her. In addition to Buffy, Terry shares her home with Henley, also a Pom,  along with 3 cats: Calvin, Blue and Dillon the Doodlebug.

Terry reached out to me to make sure Buffy’s needs were being meet. Terry wanted to know how the latest addition to her family was doing.

Buffy told Terry that her knees were bothering her. This wasn’t surprising since her knees are so bad it makes it difficult for her to walk. Thankfully, Buffy loves being held.

Buffy asked Terry for a ramp so she could get onto the couch whenever she wanted to. She also thanked Terry for giving her a home and purpose.

It’s amazing how observant and knowledgeable animals are about what’s going on in your life.

By giving animals a “voice” with my help, will bring better understanding into your relationship with with your animal family.

Reiki (pronounced “ray-key”) is a Japanese energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, stress-reduction and inner healing.

For many years, it was thought that Reiki only helped people. We now know that Reiki is effective in helping animals, including your pets, wildlife and farm animals.

The main difference between Reiki for humans and Animal Reiki is in how it’s offered.

Hand positions are emphasized when offering Reiki to people. With Animal Reiki, hand positions aren’t important. Why? Because animals don’t have hands. 

Human hands can be scary and intimidating to animals. This is especially true for pets, farm animals and wildlife who aren’t comfortable being touched.

From the time I was a teenager, I’ve
studied many different healing techniques for both humans and
animals, including Healing Touch for Animals, animal massage, T-Touch
and acupressure.  The main problem I experienced with these modalities was
their emphasis and focus on using my hands in various positions when working with an animal.

As I
practiced these various techniques, many animals communicated to me that they preferred not to
be touched.

Many years ago, a llama spit at me because I had no idea what to do with my hands except wave them around aimlessly. By spitting at me, the llama told me he didn’t like or trust hands because he doesn’t have any.

The dolphins shared the same message with me. When I was able to swim with them, they were clear that I needed to keep my hands to myself because they frightened them. Plus touching dolphins can leave bacteria on their skin that can kill them.

The dolphins and the llama taught me to keep my hands to myself. To this day, I’m grateful for their lessons as it taught me how to send Reiki from a distance. 

In my experience, many animals prefer to receive Reiki from a distance, meaning there is no physical contact between me and the animal. Of course, if an animal initiates touch and contact during a Reiki treatment, it’s an animal’s way of giving permission to be touched. 

When I began practicing Animal Reiki, it freed me from using my hands. I immediately saw how animals intuitively recognized and responded to Reiki without any physical contact. It was clear they enjoyed receiving Reiki.

Animals are always in charge of how much Reiki they wish to receive and whether they want to be touched or not. Animals receive this “Spiritual Energy” much like the waves in the ocean, with ebbs and flows.

Reiki helped Bella

Bella, the Springer Spaniel, recently had surgery to remove a couple of tumors from her back and subsequent ear infection. The day before her surgery, I communicated with Bella and offered her Reiki, which helped her relax and prepare. I then offered Bella Reiki the day after surgery to help her heal. Her person related that Bella was calmer than usual going to the vet and was recovering well. Bella said that she felt better because of the communication and Reiki.

Offering animals Reiki is a win-win for all involved. From an animal’s perspective, the best part about Reiki is they don’t need to leave home to receive it. 

When your pet feels better and more relaxed so do you!

Energy healing techniques, like Animal Reiki, work by releasing energetic blockages in an animal’s entire being.

Blocked energy creates imbalances, which can lead to illness and disease. 

By definition, Reiki is holistic in nature as it can effect an animal’s
entire being: mind, body, emotions and spirit. However, it is not a massage because you
don’t need to touch or be physically present with an animal to offer them Reiki.

Animal Reiki brings about a deep relaxation response which allows the body to gently release blocked energy. When an animal’s energy is unblocked and balanced, it leads to increased wellness and happiness for your pet and you!

Reiki unblocks stagnate energy to bring about balance or homeostasis in your pet.

In my experience, animals are intuitively drawn to the peaceful and calm energy that Reiki creates. Animals consistently communicate to me that this loving, compassionate energy is one of the main reasons they love receiving Reiki.

Animals instinctively know and understand Reiki’s ability to help them heal themselves.

“Animal Reiki is a spiritual practice of compassion for all beings. In a
nutshell, “doing” Reiki for animals simply means learning to meditate
with your animals. The practices of Reiki help us navigate our life’s

be present for others in a compassionate space. Compassion is the
ultimate healer.”

The more I practice Reiki, the
more I feel at peace and balanced within myself. My daily practice
continues to change me in ways I never thought possible including
transforming how I communicate telepathically with all species,
including people!

Through
Reiki, I am able to connect with animals at a deep energetic level,
which increases my intuition and telepathic abilities to hear what’s on their minds and in their hearts.

By opening my heart, my Reiki practice continues to strengthen my bond with myself, my pets, wildlife and the world around me.

Animal Communication is a telepathic connection between people and animals. It’s different than verbal or physical communication because it’s done silently. All beings, including humans and animals, are animated by Spirit, and therefore, speak the universal language of telepathy. Animals, like people, are spiritual beings. Telepathy creates a bridge of “communication” that empowers animals to be heard and better understood by humans. 

Learning animal communication is as much a journey of self-discovery, as it is about discovering who animals are at a deep spiritual level. Your animal family, along with wildlife, want you to reclaim your natural ability to listen to their “musings.” Animals tell me that time is of the essence to hear their “voices” as they have deep insight into your life and the world at large. 

Clear communication is the cornerstone of all good relationships, your animal family included. Communicating telepathically with your animals can be “child’s play.” Why? Because we are all born with the ability to communicate telepathically with all Spiritual beings; humans and animals included. Unfortunately, what we did easily as a child can be difficult to reclaim. Thankfully, animals are happy to teach how to hear their “voices.”

5 Easy Tips to help you 

Communicate telepathically with your animal:

Tip #1 First and foremost, you must believe that animals can and do communicate telepathically. If you don’t believe it, then you will immediately block or dismiss any telepathic communication between you and your pet. I promise you that if your animal is staring at you, then they are sending you a telepathic message.

Tip #2:  To hear what animals are sharing, it’s important to start with a quiet mind. This includes turning off as much inside and outside noise and “chatter” as you can, so you can be “quietly present” when you communicate telepathically with your animal family. If your mind is filled with endless thoughts then you will have a hard time hearing what is on your pet’s mind. And when this happens all your animal receives from you is an endless busy signal!

Tip #3: Telepathic Animal Communication originates from the heart center in both you and your animals. It’s easy to access your heart. Simply feel all the love you have for any individual that you love unconditionally, like a child or your “heart Animal.” Now Spend at least 5 minutes feeling the unconditional love you have for this individual. Enjoy feeling this beautiful love. Sit quietly and “feel” what you receive. Living from the heart is how animals live and communicate. 

Tip #4: Choose a time of day when you are in a quiet, receptive place with minimal distractions to practice your telepathic skills with your pets. Like a muscle or skill, the more you practice communicating using telepathy, the easier it will become for you. If you’re tired or are having a tough day, try again tomorrow. Your animal companions will come and find you once you establish a daily ritual of connecting your hearts together. And you will reap the rewards of feeling even closer to your animal companions.

Tip #5: Is your animal still staring at you? Still having problems understanding what they trying to say? Sometimes, depending on the situation, it’s difficult to hear what your animals are trying to share because you’re too close to them. When I have serious issues with my animal family, I call an animal communicator. Why? Because it’s sometimes hard for me to separate myself from my animals. We are too close.

As I communicated with her beautiful dog In Spirit, I asked my client, “Bella was your ‘Heart Dog,’ wasn’t she?”

My client tearfully replied, “I have never heard of the term, ‘Heart Dog.‘  But now that you say it, that’s exactly what my Bella was — she was my Heart Dog.”

A “Heart Dog” or “Heart Animal” is an animal who opens your heart and helps you live each day with an open heart. 

Qualities that define open-heartedness are loving-kindness, compassion, empathy and unconditional love.

I
have had three Heart Dogs in my life. KC and Kobe Bear were my first
Heart Dogs. I now have my sweet Bodhi Bear, who constantly reminds me to
live in my heart. 

Animals understand the
importance of connecting with an open heart and they know it will deepen
their relationship with you, while making you both happy.

Since
your animals can talk telepathically, they encourage you to spend quality time with
them every day so you can feel their love for you. Plus they want to
feel your unconditional love.
