I’m an Animal Reiki Master Teacher and Practitioner with over 15 years of experience offering Reiki to all species, including teaching and practicing the Let Animals Lead® method.
I’m the founder of the Animal Meditation Circle Membership, where animals and their people come together for shared guided meditations that transform anxiety, fear, and reactivity into calm, relaxation, and deeper heart connection.
As part of my practice, I support you and your animal together—drawing on my MA in Counseling—because understanding and healing flow in both directions.
Today, I’m lucky to share my home and heart with my dog, Yogi Bear, and my rescued kittens, Finnegan and Minnie.

I began calling myself an “Animal Muse” over 30 years ago, after rescuing Kitechaser—KC for short—while studying for my Master’s in Counseling and Education.
KC awakened my intuition and telepathic abilities.
He guided me to the teachings of Penelope Smith and opened the door to the field of Animal Communication.
After earning my Masters, I continued to follow KC’s lead. He nudged me toward becoming an Animal Communicator and Humane Educator—a path I’ve followed ever since.
This amazing spirit changed my life and opened my heart.
I will always be grateful to KC for his wisdom, presence, and love continue to inspire everything I do.
After receiving my M.A. in Counseling and Education in 1996, I studied and apprenticed with Animal Communication Pioneer Penelope Smith for over 5 years.
I offer Animal Communication sessions globally via phone and video.
I’m authorized to teach Penelope’s Basic and Advanced Animal Communication Seminars and offer them online and in-person.
I studied Animal Reiki with Kathleen Prasad and became an Animal Reiki Master Teacher and Practitioner in 2009.
As an Animal Reiki Practitioner, I offer Reiki sessions to pets worldwide to help them feel their best..
I teach all levels of Animal Reiki, including Kathleen’s Let Animals Lead® method.

I co-wrote this groundbreaking book with my big sister, Stefani Malkin Cohen, to help children feel safe around dogs.
