The holidays are upon us, and it’s time to celebrate the joy of the season with family and friends, including your animal family. Unfortunately, the holiday season also disrupts daily routines, which can create stress and anxiety in pets.

Your pet’s daily rituals build confidence and help them feel safe, secure, and loved. For many animals, even the small changes in their daily routine can be stress and anxiety-producing, especially for elderly pets. If left unchecked, stress can impact your pet’s behavior, health, and overall quality of life.

To avoid behavioral problems and stress, here are three easy ways to prepare your animal family so you can all enjoy a fun and joyful Holiday Season:

Tip #1: Keep your pets on a regular schedule as best you can, which includes going on walks, playing, feeding at consistent times, and keeping their regular bedtime. If you can’t keep their normal routine, then consider giving your animals additional exercise, attention, play, and love. Your animals will appreciate the extra time you spend with them. Plus, exercise and play will help you and your pet release excess energy and stress.

Tip #2: Talk with your pets in advance of any changes that may affect their daily routines, like having visitors in the house, schedule changes, or going on vacay. Clear communication makes a world of difference for your animal as it prepares them for any upcoming changes. If you need help conveying your message, schedule an Animal Communication session with me. You may be surprised by the valuable insights you gain. Into what your pet needs and wants, along with alleviating potential stress, so they can be calm and peaceful during the hustle and bustle.

Tip #3: Give your animals the gift of an Animal Communcation and Reiki session to reduce stress and anxiety and promote overall wellness, peace, harmony, and balance. Animal Reiki helps animals and their humans enter a relaxed state while gently releasing energetic blockages and imbalances they may be experiencing. It’s like a spa treatment that gives you and your pets a stress break and helps rejuvenate you.

When Andrea was heading out of the country for the Holidays, she scheduled two animal communication sessions to talk with her horse, Bert.

During Andrea and Bert’s first conversation, Andrea discussed who would take care of him and how her absence would affect his daily rituals. Bert expressed that he was on board with Andrea’s plan and his caregiver.

The day before Andrea left, she did a 2nd animal communication session with Bert to review changes to his schedule and to find out if he had any requests regarding his care. Bert requested extra treats. Andrea also reassured Bert she’d be home in a couple of weeks.

When Andrea returned from her vacation, she emailed me from her letting me know that Bert did well while she was away, especially since he tends to get stressed by even by minor changes in his routine.

Andrea also said talking with Bert significantly reduced her stress from feeling separated from her horse.

Andrea added:

“While I was on vacation, as per your suggestion, I did ‘check in’ with Bert every day. I found the transition coming home was so much easier than it’s ever been. I felt Bert was not mad with me for going away and he walked up to me when I went to get her out of her paddock – something he never does.”

Cyndi felt anxious about leaving her three dogs for a week while she went to Hawaii. She admits she and her animal family suffer from separation anxiety. She also recognizes that her apprehension adds to everyone’s stress and worry.

To reduce everyone’s anxiety, Cyndi scheduled Reiki sessions before and during her trip to help her dogs feel peaceful, balanced, and calm. The day before she left, Cyndi and her animals received a Reiki treatment at their home. While Cyndi enjoyed her vacation, her dogs enjoyed a couple of distant Reiki sessions.

Cyndi emailed me to share that her dogs were grounded and calm when she got home. Cyndi expressed her gratitude for my help with her dogs so she could focus on her family and enjoy herself.

When you give your animal family the gift of an Animal Communication and Animal Reiki session, you show them how much you love them and that you haven’t forgotten them during the holiday season.

May you find peace during the holiday season.

Is your dog exhibiting anxious behavior—like excessive barking, hiding, pacing, or seemingly out-of-nowhere reactions?

It’s your dog’s way of saying, “I’m feeling overwhelmed because I don’t feel safe.”

Before exploring training, medication or other anxiety reducing techniques, consider starting with a simple conversation with your dog. The act of having a heart to heart with them can give you the answers you looking for so you can find out what’s truly going on—straight from your animal.

This is where animal communication can be a game-changer.

While a vet visit is crucial to rule out any physical causes for anxious and reactive behavior, understanding your dog’s thoughts and feelings is the next vital step.

Imagine knowing the root of their distress, moving beyond guesswork.

Most likely, your animal already knows the answers—you just need to ask them. Animal communication offers this pathway, saving you time, money, and a lot of worry.

For 25+ years, I’ve been translating for animals as an Animal Communicator and supporting their humans. As a Dog Anxiety Expert, I’ve seen how transformative and healing having a two-way conversation with your dog can be. I also draw on my background in counseling and holistic care to support you and your animal family together with mutual understanding and respect.

Think of an Animal Communication session with you dog is like having a heart-to-heart with your best friend—creating space for mutual understanding and connection that leads to a calmer and less anxious dog.

Does seeing your dog struggle with anxiety or fear-based reactivity break your heart?

Here are 5 ways Animal Communication Reduces Your Dog’s Anxiety:

Giving Your Dog a Voice:
Your dog constantly communicates through body language, feelings, and behavior. Having a conversation with them during an Animal communication session helps us better understand their messages. When your dog feels heard, it reduces their stress and helps them feel safer.

Uncovering Hidden Triggers:
Sometimes, what stresses your dog might surprise you. An animal communication session can help you discover your dog’s triggers with their input and insight. This allows you to provide targeted support and create a safer environment together.

Gently Interrupting the Stress Cycle:
Dogs are sensitive to their environment and our emotions. Communication helps identify the source of stress.

Guiding You Toward Effective Solutions:
Instead of endless trials of products and services that may not work, your dog’s input can help you pinpoint the underlying causes of their discomfort and tell you what is working (or not working) for them. Their input empowers you to make informed choices that honors their viewpoints saving you time and money.

Deepening Your Bond and Relationship
Just like us, when your dog feels truly heard and understood, it brings a sense of comfort and safety. By acknowledging your dog’s feelings, your bond is strengthened and enriched. This sense of connection helps them feel valued, which can naturally reduce anxiety.

A Partnership Built on Mutual Understanding and Respect

Animal communication is about listening, not fixing. It’s about building a relationship where your dog feels understood and safe.

When your dog feels heard, it can profoundly change their response to stress.

If your dog or animal is showing signs of anxiety, consider having a two-way conversation with them to find out what they need to feel secure. It’s a gentle way to connect and find solutions that work for both of you.

If you’d like to explore how animal communication can support your dog’s well-being and bring more harmony to your home, I would be honored to connect with you.

Please feel free to reach out—I’m here to support you and your animal family on your journey together.

Here are 7 guiding principles to help you reconnect with your natural ability to communicate using the universal language of telepathy.

Principle #1: The first step is to believe in your natural ability to send and receive telepathic communication. If you don’t believe in your telepathic capabilities or you don’t feel telepathic communication is possible, then you automatically block and prevent animal communication from happening.

Principle #2: Nurture a positive attitude. Practice appreciation and admiration for animals’ spiritual qualities, such as love, trust, kindness, joy, and honesty. Increasing positive emotions generates heartfelt feelings, leading to more understanding, compassion, and enhanced communication with animals.

Principle #3: Animals welcome and are drawn to peaceful and calm energy. Learn to be quietly present with animals. By cultivating peaceful and positive emotions, you become a natural attractant. When you quiet your mind of its endless chatter, you will become more receptive to hearing animals. Meditating with your animals is a great way to co-create calm, peaceful and heart-connected energy together.

Principle #4: Be mindful of projecting your thoughts, emotions, and feelings onto animals, Projections are disruptive and disturbing for animals. If an animal feels overwhelmed with strong feelings, it can block two-way communication. When you project strong feelings and emotions onto animals, you’ll receive your own projections back instead of the animal’s actual response to your connection.

Principle #5: Let go of any expectations you may have in what animals tell you. Expectations and attachments block telepathic communication and muddle what you receive. Requiring animals to respond in a certain way, like needing an animal to show affection before, during, or after you communicate with them, can obstruct their viewpoints. It also blocks your ability to receive the animal’s telepathic communication.

Principle #6: Be open to receiving whatever the animal wants to share with you by letting go of any preconceived notions and expectations you might have. Remain open and receptive and allow animals to have their own perspectives, which can be surprising and refreshing.

Principle #7: Telepathy originates from the heart-center located in the center of your chest instead of the mind. While interpreting what animals communicate takes our minds, telepathic communication is sent heart to heart.

Animals are more willing to engage in two-way animal communication when we are calm, peaceful, and have a positive attitude. That’s why it’s important to practice communicating telepathically frequently with a wide variety of species to remember and retain fluency.

The more you consciously practice telepathic communication with different species and Nature, the easier it will be for you to recognize and trust your telepathic abilities.

Just like people, some pets like to dress up in clothing and hats. Most animals prefer you don’t anthropomorphize them by making them wear human outfits.

You should only put a costume on your pet if they are comfortable with the idea. Out of respect for your pets’ feelings and well-being, it’s key you honor their wishes whether or not you agree with them.

As much as I want to dress up my dog Bodhi in a Halloween costume, he wants nothing to do with hats and human outfits. He becomes stressed and anxious when I try to outfit him. The most he’s willing to tolerate are accouterments that go around his neck like bandanas, necklaces, and bows.

My Spirit dog, Kobe Bear loved wearing hats and necklaces. He happily wore them for hours.

My Spirit Dog, Kobe Bear loved wearing costumes.

Not my Bodhi! He clearly tells me that costumes aren’t his thing by throwing hats off his head or sitting down when I put a vest on him. He also starts licking his lips and yawning, which tells me he’s feeling stress.

Whether I like or not, I respect Bodhi’s wishes, and I refrain from dressing him up. Wearing human outfits is not his thing. The last thing I want to do is stress him out or make him uncomfortable. So I have let go of my desire to put costumes and hats on him.

Even if your pet doesn’t mind wearing outfits, be mindful of stress signals that your pet might be giving you like yawning, lip licking, turning their back to you, or avoiding eye contact. Some pets will run away and hide if they’re not on board with your playing dress-up with them.

If your animal exhibits any of these “stress signals,” take the outfit off immediately as it’s not fair to your pet to keep them dressed.

Many pets tolerate wearing clothing to make their people happy. That’s why it’s key to keep a lookout for signs of stress or anxiety when your pet is wearing a costume.

If your pet doesn’t like wearing a costume that covers his head and body, a better alternative might be a bandana or bow. Or nothing at all.

If your animal companion enjoys dressing up like Kobe Bear did, please keep the following in mind to make sure you and your animal family have a safe and enjoyable time:

If your pet is acting impatient, annoyed, uncomfortable, or unhappy wearing a costume, she is trying to tell you that wearing an outfit is not her cup of tea. (Learn more about Stress in Pets)

Costumes must provide freedom of movement for your pet’s comfort and safety. When choosing a pet costume, make sure it doesn’t impair your pet’s hearing, sight, or the ability to breathe, bark, eat, drink, or eliminate.

Your pet’s head and neck should be able to move freely in their outfit. If your pet is wearing a hat, double-check that isn’t too big and doesn’t cover her eyes.

Avoid potential Choking Hazards on costumes like bow ties, ribbons, hanging beads, or pieces that might fall off, along with other loose items that might cause choking if swallowed. Always watch for these kinds of objects and any other potential choking hazards on your pet’s costumes.

Allow pets to get used to wearing their costumes before going trick or treating on Halloween.

Avoid itchy, uncomfortable, or restrictive materials.

Choose a brightly colored costume so you can be seen at night, especially if you plan to take your pet Trick or Treating. Attaching a blinking light and using reflective material will increase their visibility. If you use glow sticks and jewelry, keep in mind that they can be toxic to your pet if ingested.

NEVER force your animal to wear clothing because most animals don’t understand what human clothes are and why they need to wear them.

If if you really need to put an outfit on an animal and your animal hates wearing costumes, a better choice might be dressing up a stuffed animal.

It’s essential your animals feel comfortable and safe wearing their Halloween costume. Otherwise, it’s not worth upsetting them by making them do something that scares them.

Have a fun and safe Howl-o-ween!

Telepathy, which means feeling another soul or spirit over a distance, is the universal language that all species speak including humans and animals. Animal Communicators, like myself, interpret animals’ thoughts, feelings, and viewpoints using the telepathic connection.

Animal Communication empowers your pets by giving them a “voice” so they can share their thoughts, feelings, and viewpoints with you,

Communicating telepathically with your pets brings many rewards including letting them know how much you love, care, and respect them.

Here are 5 Benefits of Telepathic Animal Communication:

Animal Communication allows you to make decisions and work in partnership with your animals instead of second-guessing what they may be thinking or want. It empowers animals when they can have a say in the decisions that affect them like if they want a new animal friend or end-of-life decisions.

Telepathic Animal Communication can clear up misunderstandings and miscommunications that can lead to unwanted issues and problems like separation anxiety or inappropriate bathroom behaviors.

As teachers and healers, pets welcome the opportunity to share their wisdom and offer guidance.

Gives you a chance to share your heart with your pet creating mutual understanding, harmony, trust, and love.

Animals feel loved when their voices are heard and understood.

Do You Live In Your Heart?

Did you know all spiritual beings, whether human, animal, plant or mineral, are born with the ability to communicate using the universal language of telepathy

Learning Telepathic Animal Communication and Reiki is a life-long journey of self-discovery. The process begins by recognizing how it feels when you focus your awareness in your Heart Center where telepathy and Reiki emanate.

So be loving and kind to yourself as you reclaim your natural abilities to communicate telepathically and offer Reiki to all spiritual beings in the web of life.

Telepathic Animal Communication originates from your heart. Verbal language arises in your mind. Most spiritual beings live in their heart center not in their thinking minds like humans do.

This Heart Center Meditation is designed to help you access your heart center and its associated feelings so you can experience how being open-hearted affects your entire being: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.

Practice this short Heart Center Meditation for at least 5 minutes daily. The more you consciously spend time in your “heart center,” the easier it is to access your telepathic and Reiki potential.

If at any stage during the meditation you feel frustrated or are unable to focus, take a break. Return to the meditation when you feel calm and relaxed in mind and body.

Remember, this meditation is not a test! It’s a fun and easy way to discover the world from your heart center.

As you continue to breathe through your heart center, recall a time when you felt unconditional love for any individual like a pet or child.

Do you sense a shift in how you perceive the world around you when you’re in your heart center?

For over 30 years, I’ve developed and honed my telepathic skills as an Animal Muse so I can easily and instantly translate what animals are thinking and feeling for humans.

In other words, I speak fluent telepathy which helps me to better understand animals and other living beings in the web of life.

Thanks to my telepathic abilities, I’ve discovered a lot about the world around me by communicating telepathically with all species including insects.

A great example of this happened a couple of weeks ago when my dog Bodhi discovered an unusual insect flying around our neighborhood that I had never seen before.

Is it a moth? Or is it a Hummingbird?

Bodhi first noticed the bug when it flew by his ear to consume nectar from my neighbor’s Salvia plant during our last walk of the evening right after dusk.

It was hard to get a good look at what was buzzing Bodhi given the lack of light. I saw it flying around the Salvia but had a hard time getting a clear look at it. From what I could tell, it appeared to be a moth-like creature but seemed too large to be a moth. To confuse me even further, it flew and acted like a hummingbird. Then, as quickly as this unfamiliar insect appeared, it disappeared into the darkness of night.

While the whole encounter intrigued me, I didn’t give the sighting a second thought until the next evening when Bodhi and I walked past my astilbe bush. I noticed quite a bit of activity going on. Despite the oncoming darkness, I saw three of these unfamiliar insects feeding on the plant.

This time I was able to get a better look as I had three of them to gently focus on. I enjoyed watching them fly and feed on the flowers. The move I focused my attention on them, the more I noticed how much they looked and moved like a hummingbird.

How could that be? I had never heard of a hummingbird feeding at night so I didn’t think it was an actual bird. It had to be a moth. Or was it?

When I want to know something about animals or insects, I ask them telepathically. I find asking the animal in their native language is sometimes the fastest and most reliable way to receive answers to my questions.

So I tuned into these fascinating creatures telepathically and asked them what they were. They playfully replied, “I’m a moth! No, I’m a hummingbird! We’re both!” They went on to repeat these words a couple more times for me.

I then thanked the three “Hummingbird Moths” for talking with me. Given it was now pitch black, Bodhi and I headed home.

As soon as we got inside, I immediately Googled “Hummingbird Moth.” To my surprise and delight, the search turned up the answer which came from the website www.butterfliesandmoths.org. This informative site confirmed what I received telepathically.

It turns out these flying insects were right when they told me that they were a Hummingbird Moth because that’s exactly what they are! They’re also known as Hummingbird Hawk-Moths. These unusual moths originate from Tomato Hornworms which are loathed by gardeners given their potential for destroying crops like tomatoes and tobacco. Yet once these destructive caterpillars morph, they turn into beautiful moths that look and fly like a hummingbird.

Hummingbird Hawkmoths are mostly nocturnal but can sometimes be seen during the day. They visit a large variety of night-blooming flowers which they pollinate while feeding with their long proboscises. According to the website, Butterflies and Moths.org:

The Sphingidae are strong fliers, with a rapid wingbeat. Most are medium to large moths, with heavy bodies; wingspread reaches 5 inches or more in some species. Although a few are active in the daytime, most species in the group are active at dusk. Most, but not all, sphingids feed much like hummingbirds, hovering in front of a flower and sipping nectar through the extended proboscis. The proboscis rolls up like a party noisemaker when not in use, and may not be readily evident in a resting moth. Some species lack scales on large portions of their wings, and therefore have transparent or clear wings. These are commonly referred to as “clearwing hummingbird moths.” (Note however that the scientifically accepted common name of “Hummingbird clearwing” refers specifically to Hemaris thysbe.)

Since the Hummingbird Moth is most active at night, I wasn’t sure if I’d get a picture of this unique moth. A couple of days later, after our morning walk, there was a Hummingbird Moth doing its thing on my astilbe.

For the first time, I got a close look at it. It was remarkable to watch it in action as it pollinated the astilbe. I have to say, it’s quite a striking moth to behold and incredibly beautiful to watch. I also found the hawkmoth fun to communicate with.

The next time you come across an animal or insect that you’re unfamiliar with, I encourage you to start up a telepathic conversation with them. Start with something simple like “Hello” and see what response you receive. If you “hear” a response, great! If don’t, don’t worry. It takes time, practice and patience to rekindle your telepathic abilities. I encourage to you keep trying and not give up on yourself.

It’s also always important to always thank animals, insects and even humans for their willingness to communicate with you telepathically even if you don’t feel you heard their reply. Keep trying because this is how to strengthen your relationship with other species as your develop your telepathic abilities.

Who knows what species is waiting for you to discover and communicate telepathically with. If you do, please leave your experiences here on my blog or on my Facebook page.

Learning animal communication is as much a journey of self-discovery, as it is about discovering who animals are at a deep spiritual level. Your animal family, along with wildlife, want you to reclaim your natural ability to listen to their “musings.” Animals tell me that time is of the essence to hear their “voices” as they have deep insight into your life and the world at large.

Clear communication is the cornerstone of all good relationships, your animal family included. Communicating telepathically with your animals can be “child’s play.” Why? Because we are all born with the ability to communicate telepathically with all Spiritual beings; humans and animals included. Unfortunately, what we did easily as a child can be difficult to reclaim. Thankfully, animals are happy to teach how to hear their “voices.”

Here are

5 Easy Tips to help you

Communicate telepathically with your animal:

Tip #1 First and foremost, you must believe that animals can and do communicate telepathically. If you don’t believe it, then you will immediately block or dismiss any telepathic communication between you and your pet. I promise you that if your animal is staring at you, then they are sending you a telepathic message.

Tip #2: To hear what animals are sharing, it’s important to start with a quiet mind. This includes turning off as much inside and outside noise and “chatter” as you can, so you can be “quietly present” when you communicate telepathically with your animal family. If your mind is filled with endless thoughts then you will have a hard time hearing what is on your pet’s mind. And when this happens all your animal receives from you is an endless busy signal!

Tip #3: Telepathic Animal Communication originates from the heart center in both you and your animals. It’s easy to access your heart. Simply feel all the love you have for any individual that you love unconditionally, like a child or your “heart Animal.” Now Spend at least 5 minutes feeling the unconditional love you have for this individual. Enjoy feeling this beautiful love. Sit quietly and “feel” what you receive. Living from the heart is how animals live and communicate.

Tip #4: Choose a time of day when you are in a quiet, receptive place with minimal distractions to practice your telepathic skills with your pets. Like a muscle or skill, the more you practice communicating using telepathy, the easier it will become for you. If you’re tired or are having a tough day, try again tomorrow. Your animal companions will come and find you once you establish a daily ritual of connecting your hearts together. And you will reap the rewards of feeling even closer to your animal companions.

Tip #5: Is your animal still staring at you? Still having problems understanding what they trying to say? Sometimes, depending on the situation, it’s difficult to hear what your animals are trying to share because you’re too close to them. When I have serious issues with my animal family, I call an animal communicator. Why? Because it’s sometimes hard for me to separate myself from my animals. We are too close.
